早幾個月已經傳出馬丁．史柯西斯（Martin Scorsese）將跟李奧納多．狄卡皮歐（Leonardo DiCaprio）合作，拍攝暢銷小說《花月殺手》（Killers of the Flower Moon）的改編電影版，近日 Martin Scorsese 的長期合作夥伴、著名美術指導丹特·法拉提（Dante Ferretti），向美國電影雜誌《Variety》透露了更多有關這計劃的最新消息。他表示 Martin Scorsese 希望在完成跟勞勃．狄尼洛（Robert De Niro） 合作的《The Irishman》之後，馬上緊接於明年春天正式展開《Killers of the Flower Moon》的拍攝工作，而且過去數月一直跟 Leonardo DiCaprio 及去年取得《Killers of the Flower Moon》拍攝版權的製作公司 Imperative Entertainment，保持緊密溝通。

另外 Dante Ferretti 又透露，正準備到奧克拉荷馬（Oklahoma）這擁有全美國最多印地安原住民人口的州，為電影挑選拍攝地點，皆因《Killers of the Flower Moon》一書的內容，正正是講述當地原住民發現石油後慘遭殺害的真實案件。

電影將會是 Martin Scorsese 跟 Leonardo DiCaprio 繼 2013 年《華爾街之狼》（The Wolf Of Wall Street）後，雙方之間的第六次合作，但依然叫人萬分期待。
